Grand National 2025: Drinks prices at Aintree Racecourse revealed | Racing | Sport

The Grand National Festival is set to begin at Aintree Racecourse on Thursday, and the prices for drinks that racegoers will encounter have now been announced. The iconic course features numerous bars offering a variety of options tailored to different tastes.

In addition to the standard choices, racegoers can take advantage of several special deals, including significant discounts for those who arrive early. The event organizers have introduced various incentives to enhance value for attendees throughout the site. One notable change for this year is a 20 per cent discount on all food and drink during the first hour after the gates open each day. New meal deals will also be available at all retail food points. These deals will include a main meal or sandwich, a snack, and a hot or cold drink at bundled prices aimed at improving convenience so that racegoers can quickly grab a bite to eat and return to the action.

At Aintree, the alcoholic drinks available include Madri, which is priced at £7.80 per pint, consistent with other lager selections, ales, and cider. Guinness is offered at £7.30. A glass of wine (175ml) costs £9.50, while a bottle of Prosecco is priced at £46. Spirits are priced at £6.75 for a 25ml measure, and a variety of soft drinks and mixers are also available for purchase.

Special drink offers will be available for those wanting to celebrate in style. On Ladies Day, Prosecco enthusiasts can enjoy a £10 discount on bottles, while the same discount will be available for bottles of Champagne on Grand National Day itself.

This year, 34 runners will compete in the prestigious Grand National, a steeplechase covering four miles and two-and-a-half furlongs. During the race, they will leap over 30 fences in hopes of making history. The festival will take place over three days, with the main event scheduled for 4pm on Saturday, April 5. Ahead of the event, the Liverpool Echo has revealed the beverage prices for attendees.
