Get rid of house flies using these 3 cheap and ‘natural’ common kitchen items

With temperatures rising as spring has officially started, homeowners are finding more and more in their homes.

Flies only need the slightest amount of moisture to stay hydrated so can stay alive even just drinking the condensation on walls or windows.

If left untreated flies can spread bacteria such as Salmonella, typhoid and E.Coli.

Experts advise removing decaying foods such as meat, fruit and vegetables from your house that will attract the pests.

But deterring common house flies can be difficult especially when the weather is warm and windows and doors are left open.

Method:

To use this method, mix about an inch of apple cider vinegar and a few drops of dish soap in a tall glass.

Cover the glass with plastic wrap. Secure the plastic wrap with a rubber band and poke small holes in the top.

Flies will be attracted to the vinegar in the glass and will fly through the holes.

However, the dish soap causes the flies to sink instead of being able to land on the vinegar.
