Russian forces launched their most significant drone attack on Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine, since the full-scale invasion began overnight on Wednesday.

A total of 171 drones were deployed, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 75, while 63 drones were lost without significant damage.

The strikes caused widespread explosions and fires, hitting residential neighbourhoods, private homes, and high-rise buildings.

At least 10 people, including 4 children, were injured, and civilian infrastructure was heavily damaged, including shattered windows and destroyed balconies. Additionally, Ukrainian Railways had to adjust train routes and schedules due to the attack’s impact on the region’s infrastructure.
