UK beach has perfect waves for surfing – but it’s film connection is triggering | UK | Travel

If you visit the beach, you’ll find an array of memorials for the house elf. To find exactly where Dobby was buried, you’ll want to walk past the “Freshwater West Beach” sign toward the lifeguard box, then continue for 100 metres over the small dunes until you see the grave site.

Welsh-cottages.com says the original grave, which said “here lies Dobby, a Free Elf” was stolen, but there are fan-made grave stones still standing.

Though not as popular, the beach was actually featured in another movie as well. It’s one of the locations in Ridley Scott’s 2010 adaptation of Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe.
