Duchess Sophie looked chic and sophisticated as she stepped out to support the Princess of Wales for the ‘Together at Christmas Carol Service’. The 59-year-old wowed royal onlookers as she donned a winter ensemble.
Sophie wore a colourful dress that boasted a chic purple and brown pattern. It has been reported that she bought the new garment from the luxury designer Matelier.
Meanwhile, she wrapped up warm on the cold wintery night with a white fitted blazer from Marant Loyana. It features a gorgeous woven print thanks to delicate embroidery – this is also believed to be new.
The Duchess also put on a regal display with fans taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, so share their thoughts on Sophie’s outfit. One user penned: “I love Sophie’s style, she looks so elegant.”
A second chimed in and picked up on her personalised jewels and said: “Looking GORGEOUS! Love this new dress and the E, L, J necklace will always be my absolutely favourite.” While a third added: “I really like her style. She has a fun vibe that is subtle but noticeable.”
She will be no doubt be singing along to the festive tunes with Princess Kate, Prince William and their three children.
Westminster Abbey has been transformed into a winter wonderland with the lights twinkling over the huge Christmas tree which was stood at the front of the alter.
The service aims to bring people together from around the UK and show support for those who have had a tough year.
Over 1,600 people had been invited and were given astunning order of service which was designed by the late Queen Elizabeth II’s friend. Those who had been selected were members of the public who either helped their family or friends through their work or selflessly gave up their time through volunteering during the year.
The event is spearheaded by the Princess of Wales and supported by The Royal Foundation. Princess Kate looked elegant as she dressed to impress with a show-stopping look.
It is reported that Duchess Sophie and Princess Kate share a sweet close bond, so it comes as no surprise that she attended the occasion.
Royal experts have claimed that they have a sisterly bond as the pair appeared together at the Cenotaph back in November.
Duchess Sophie affectionately placed a hand on Princess Kate’s back as they turned to head inside at the end of the Remembrance Sunday Service.
