Welcome to Express Sport’s LIVE coverage of the Players Championship final between John Higgins and Zhao Xintong. Higgins and Zhao will go head-to-head in the final in Telford on Sunday afternoon, with the winner needing to secure 10 frames.

Zhao claimed a 6-5 win over Mark Allen in his semi-final on Saturday, while Higgins also needed a deciding frame to get past World No.1 Judd Trump in his semi-final.

The winner of today’s final is in line to receive £150,000 in prize money, with Zhao claiming a 5-3 victory in the last meeting between the two players in the last-16 of the World Grand Prix earlier this month.
