Six Nations LIVE: Ireland star goads Scotland fans as organisers reject France | Rugby | Sport

France No.10 Romain Ntamack will miss the Six Nations trip to Italy due to suspension despite attempts to make him available.

The 25-year-old was banned for three weeks for a high tackle in the win over Wales on January 31, with the punishment then reduced by a week after he completed a tackle safety programme.

The French Rugby Federation hoped Toulouse’s French Top 14 visit to Clermont on Sunday would count, making Ntamack free to play the Azzurri on February 23. According to AFP, Six Nations organisers have rejected the claim that the club fixture is included.
