Doctors Without Borders (MSF) said it is stopping operations across the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince and its wider metropolitan area due to an escalation in violence and threats to its staff from members of the Haitian police. The move came as an upscale neighborhood in the capital came under armed attack, with residents joining police to repeal the assailants.
