M&S Christmas pyjamas worn by Dawn French are just £30
November is upon us, and it’s no secret that for many, the Christmas countdown starts now. With just over seven weeks until the big day, major retailers are starting to release their Christmas adverts, and M&S’ is proving a popular watch.
As in previous years, the advert has often featured celebrities, and this year’s star is Dawn French, who is transformed from comfy pyjamas to a glamorous festive look in time for a festive party. You can watch the Christmas advert on M&S here.
On offer for just £30, her pyjamas are gaining praise from shoppers, who are picking them up with the winter months and festive season in mind. The pyjamas feature a timeless checked pattern, which is often associated with Christmas, especially with the festive green and red colours in the design.
They come in kids’ and adults’ sizes, so whether you’re a pyjamas on Christmas Day type of family or you like to spend Christmas Eve and Boxing Day in comfort, there’s a pair for everyone.
Shoppers are leaving positive feedback, with one saying: ”Treated myself to new jammies ready for winter and I’m pleased with the purchase. They are soft and comfortable and nice and warm. The colours are Christmassy without having an explicit Christmas theme which I also like, as they’re a bit more classic. I agree with other reviews about the top being large in size compared with the bottoms, but it doesn’t bother me having a looser fit on top. The bottoms are true to size (I’m an 8, bought an 8 and the bottoms fit well without being too tight or restrictive at nighttime).” [SIC]
Another added: ”Very soft, and comfortable. Good quality. Some pyjamas can cause me to be too hot but the fabric is great (not cheap polyester!) bought family matching set for Christmas Day post-partum.” [SIC]
One did warn about the sizing, however, saying: ”These are really lovely PJs, lovely soft material and well made. However, they are massive! I originally bought the size I’d normally buy in trousers and I could fit myself and my 12-year-old daughter into the top. Have downsized from a 14 to a 12 now but they’re still very roomy – but comfortable!” [SIC]
