M&S blouse from new collection is ‘so classy’ according to shoppers

January can feel like an in-between time for fashion, and you may be struggling to put together outfits or just want to invest in some new staples to freshen up last year’s wardrobe.

Marks and Spencer has launched a new collection for 2025, with a mix of pieces that work for both winter and the upcoming spring months.

Marked as ‘selling fast’, one of the most popular pieces from the new range is the Polka Dot Puff Sleeve Blouse, a stylish top that’s ideal for ‘jeans and a nice top’ looks, and described as ‘a fun choice for smart-casual dressing’ on the M&S website.

The blouse costs £37.50 and has hook and eye fastenings at the front, playful bow details and stylish puff sleeves, and the statement piece could easily be dressed up or down.

While it’s tricky to go wrong with a polka dot pattern, it’s the little details that take this top up a notch, and it has a similar shape to the Cotton Poplin Peplum Tie Blouse from Ganni, which costs £165.

The M&S version comes in sizes 6-24, but some are already starting to sell out, so its worth being quick if you wan to secure your size.

As a new addition, the top has only received one review so far, with a shopper saying: ”Love Love this top, alas it was [too] small [so I] returned for [the] next size up. Would love it in [a] larger size. So classy” [SIC]

As the blouse is short sleeved, it would need to be layered while the weather remains cold, but it’ll be easy to wear during the spring and summer months.
