‘I’m a royal make-up expert – this 3-minute hack is super easy and perfect for winter’ | Royal | News

The party season is just around the corner and a royal makeup artist has claimed that it is essential to go out and get yourself a bold lip combination. Hannah Martin has had the pleasure of helping get ready the likes of Princess Beatrice and Eugenie.

Meanwhile, she has a long list of A-listers on her roast including the likes of Dame Helen Miren. In a chat with OK! Hannah started off by saying that the best foundation to perfect makeup is “great skincare.”

“You can have the very best make-up on the market but it won’t look good if you’re putting it onto skin that hasn’t been prepped or looked after,” she said. But number one on her list this winter was using a vibrant lipstick and liner.

Hannah continued: “I’ve done a lot of brides with bold lips in winter. It just seems to work. Less eye make-up – not so much shadow, just a cool sparkle and a bit of diffused liner – and then a bold lip.

“Sometimes I’ll do a neutral lip for the ceremony and then as soon as the photos are done, it’s on with the red,” she added.

LookFantastic has a MAC tons of teddy lip kit which you can purchase here for only £50. The kit has products worth £92 – saving you a whopping £42.

It features four luxurious lip products each inspired by the brand’s best-selling “Velvet Teddy” shade.

It has rave reviews from customers with one writing: “I love velvet teddy, it’s my go to shade and this set… great value for money.” [SIC]

While a second shared: “I wear this lipstick more than any other by far, so I couldn’t afford to miss this at 25% off! It’s fantastic value for money. The lustreglass version is gorgeous, modern twist on an icon. Just perfect.

Hannah confessed that mascara is a game changer and can instantly transform any face.

“Mascara on a well-curled lash instantly brings everyone’s eyes into focus. However, bronzer transforms me; I look really insipid without it on. Blusher, too; I’ve worked with loads of people who have said, ‘Blusher doesn’t suit me,’ but trust me, it does!” she continued.

She suggested the L’Oreal Million Lashes Panorama Mascara as it is which you can grab here for £12.99. It uses “multi-level bristle brush technology for corner-to-corner volume.”

Meanwhile, she said that everyone should add an illuminating moisturiser or primer to their makeup bag as they can be really beneficial.

Hannah claimed that she prefers Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter, which is priced at £39 and comes in a variety of different shades.

The beauty expert said it was the “OG” before claiming: “It is the best there is but there are so many alternatives now to suit every price point. And plenty of light, hydrating layers of skincare.”
