Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton has hinted that he could miss the final three races of the year before he links up with Ferrari ahead of the 2025 season. The seven-time world champion suffered a miserable weekend in Brazil as he grabbed just one point after a P10 finish.

During his warm-down lap, Hamilton explained over his radio that it had been a “disaster of a weekend” and insisted his car was “the worst it has ever been”.

He then added: “But thank you for continuing to try. Great job from the guys at the pitstop. If this is the last time that I get to perform, it’s a shame it wasn’t great. But grateful for you.”
