The world remains gripped by fears of escalating warfare, as President Donald Trump delivered some bold remarks following confirmation that the U.S. death toll has risen amid the conflict in Iran. Last Saturday, President Trump announced the U.S. military is collaborating with Israel in an effort to bring down Iran‘s current regime, prompting widespread concern about the possibility of World War 3 breaking out.

Now, the President has made additional comments regarding how the war could potentially intensify, which appear to have left many Americans frightened. They claim to feel “unsafe” as tensions continue to mount in the Middle East, with Trump displaying no indication of stopping.

This follows nearly a week of mounting unease. Shortly after the first strike was launched, the Supreme Leader of Iran was confirmed dead.

Journalist Aaron Parnas recently drew his millions of followers’ attention to a recent statement Trump made, sparking considerable debate. He said Trump acknowledges that the U.S. may encounter retaliatory strikes as a consequence of the ongoing war.

According to Aaron, it’s been among the “craziest” statements issued by the President thus far. When questioned about whether Americans ought to be concerned about potential attacks on the U.S., Trump is reported to have told TIME: “I guess.”

Trump continued: “But I think they’re worried about that all the time. We think about it all the time. We plan for it. But yeah, you know, we expect some things. Like I said, some people will die. When you go to war, some people will die.”

Aaron stated: “I don’t think when he said that initially, ‘when you go to war, some people will die’, people took that to mean Americans dying on American soil from retaliatory attacks as a result of the war he started.

“People took that to mean American service members in combat. That’s not what he’s saying tonight. A pretty stunning admission from the President of the United States.”

The video has been viewed over 100,000 times since it was shared, and many were quick to comment. It’s clear the situation is causing thousands to worry.

One person remarked: “We’re not American citizens, we’re American sacrifices.” Another added: “Putting millions of Americans at risk.”

A third responded: “We have NEVER been more unsafe as a country.” Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “I did. I absolutely took his statement that some people will die, as meaning Americans on American soil.”

Another individual also wrote: “Whoever is still playing Jumanji, please stop! I don’t know what level we’re even on at this point!”

This week it was confirmed that six Americans were killed during the conflict when an unmanned aircraft struck a U.S. facility in Kuwait. However, attacks have not yet been reported on U.S. shores.

His comments came after he delivered another alarming statement about the conflict earlier this week whilst speaking at the White House. At the time, Trump said: “We’re doing very well on the warfront to put it mildly, I would say. Somebody said ‘on a scale of 10, where would you rate it?’ I said about a 15.

“We’re going to continue to do, while we have the greatest military in the world by far.” He also described Iran as “a tremendous threat” to America, claiming Iran had spent 47 years “killing people all over the world.”

He continued: “I think we have great support. I think, if we didn’t do it first, they would have done it to Israel, and give us a shot, if that was possible.”
