Australian Open LIVE: Novak Djokovic in agonising blow as Aryna Sabalenka left starstruck | Tennis | Sport

The final weekend of the Australian Open is already upon us, with Aryna Sabalenka going for a three-peat in Melbourne against Madison Keys.

The reigning champion will become the first woman since Martina Hingis in 1999 to win three successive titles if she triumphs over her American rival today.

Sabalenka is on a 20-match winning streak at Melbourne Park but will be wary of Keys following her surprise victory over Iga Swiatek in the semi-finals.

The men’s final, which is taking place tomorrow, will see Jannik Sinner go up against Alexander Zverev as the Italian looks to defend his title.

Novak Djokovic will be forced to watch from afar, having withdrawn from his semi-final against Zverev due to a muscular injury.
