Amazon revamps Prime Video’s Apple TV app

Amazon’s Prime Video app just got a big update on Apple TV. The app is now better optimized for tvOS, allowing you to swipe on the Siri Remote to scroll through Prime Video’s shows and movies as well as use touchpad gestures for fast-forwarding, rewinding, and scrubbing through content.

Amazon has updated the app’s search feature too, which will now automatically show results as you enter your search. You can also search with your voice using the Siri Remote.

Additionally, the Prime Video app now supports Apple accessibility features like VoiceOver, Hover Text, and Bold Text. There are new motion and sound effects as well, which you’ll encounter as you browse through content, along with higher-resolution images of TV shows and movies in the Prime Video library.

The update is available for all three generations of the Apple TV 4K devices as well as the newest version of the now-discontinued Apple TV HD.
