Aldi, Tesco, Morrisons issue urgent ‘do not eat’ warnings – full list

Shoppers have been alerted to several food recall notices this week affecting well-known snacks, desserts and curries. The Food Standards Agency has published notices concerning multiple products from leading UK supermarkets.

Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi have also issued their own alerts, strongly advising customers not to consume the affected goods. This week, items have been withdrawn due to undeclared allergens, alongside the discovery of plastic. Shoppers have been informed about the process for obtaining refunds from the retailers if they possess a recalled product.

Here, we have compiled the food recall notices from the previous week.

Malabar Choice Spicy Kerala Mixture

Indo Asian Foods’ Malabar Choice Spicy Kerala Mixture was withdrawn from sale this week as it contains milk, which is not declared on the product’s packaging. The snack is available in a 275g bag and bears the batch code ARC 109.

Its best-before date is December 2026. The mixture is a traditional Indian snack made with various components, including crunchy lentils, roasted nuts, and aromatic spices.

The FSA said: “This product contains milk, making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.”

Consumers who have bought the snack and are milk intolerant are being urgently warned not to consume it. The FSA added: “Instead, return it to the store you purchased it from for a full refund (with or without a receipt). If you have any questions or require further assistance, please contact Indo Asian Foods by phone on 07377970314 or email accounts@indoasianfoods.com.”

“Instead, contact Brioch Pasquier at technical@briochepasquier.com and add a picture of the product with the best-before date. Alternatively, return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required.”

The recall affects its six-pack with a use-by date of March 4, 2026.

Morrison’s Strawberry Trifle
