Harry Styles Netflix reviews call show ‘special’ and ‘perfect’ | Music | Entertainment

On Friday, March 6, 2026, Harry Styles returned to live performing. He had previously given his fans a rendition of his new single Aperture at the BRIT awards, but this show, at Manchester’s Co-op Live, was his first live gig since 2022. And while fans were excited, many were unsure how his new style of music would translate to live shows. Now, the reviews are in, and they are overwhelmingly positive.

Harry Styles hit the 23,000-capacity venue alongside the House Gospel Choir, performing his new album, ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally’, in full. The 90-minute event showcased his newly-inspired music, performances, and style, making fans feel as if they had seen something “special”.

Manchester Evening News‘ Bethan Finighan said: “For those lucky enough to be in the room, the night felt less like a typical arena show and more like a shared experience.

“The perfect blend of old and new, it felt like fans had witnessed something really special. Something intimate, despite the scale of the venue.”

Hannah Britt of the Mirror agreed. She said Harry Styles’ energy “knew no bounds”.

She added: “[Harry was] commanding the stage like the coolest clubber on the dance floor. Some fans already knew all the words to the new album, while others simply screamed – relishing the chance to be within touching distance of their idol.”

Nick Reilly of Rolling Stone UK gave the performance an almighty four stars out of five.

And while the critic praised Harry’s performance, there was one eye on his shows later this year. RS wrote: “When Wembley Stadium beckons in the summer, it will feel out of this world.”

After this performance, the former One Direction star will be going quiet for a while, but come July, he’ll be back in the UK for his Wembley Stadium residency slot.

Here, he’ll be performing 12 shows at the 90,000-capacity venue as a part of his Together Together tour.
