Three star signs to struggle in March as mercury retrograde continues

March is here, bringing a month of changes, but unfortunately, Mercury remains in retrograde for most of it, while the upcoming lunar eclipse will leave individuals pondering their love lives. Astrologer Inbaal Honigman explains: “A total Lunar Eclipse on 3/3 will call on people to see what’s missing in their love lives.

“If your partner disappoints you or your home life has lost its sparkle, the eclipse will make you think about it and decide how to do things differently. This eclipse will mostly influence the sign of Virgo, because the moon will be in Virgo during the eclipse, but Pisceans will feel it too because the sun is in Pisces at that time. In addition, Mercury will be in retrograde until the 20th, which is an extra complication for Virgo and Pisces, as well as Gemini. Those signs will struggle to make their plans come to fruition.”

Aries: March 21 to April 19

Venus, planet of love, enters Aries from the 6th onwards, and it’s like a light has switched on. You’re a fun-loving, active sign, and romance is not normally high on your list of priorities. But once Venus gets in the picture, you can suddenly be persuaded to get involved with the emotional side of life. In addition, the Sun goes into your sign from the 20th, heralding Aries season, a time of joy and change for you.

Taurus: April 20 to May 20

At the start of the month, your ruling planet, Venus, is in the romantic, dreamy sign of Pisces. You are feeling spiritual, intuitive and heart-centred. Venus is the planet of love and the home, and so you enjoy indoorsy, cosy moments. After the 6th, however, this planet moves into the fiery and direct sign of Aries, and it makes you feel a little more adventurous. You’ll be reaching out to your party friends and getting out of the house more often. The final day of the month brings Venus into Taurus! So April will be amazing.

Gemini: May 21 to June 21

Your ruling planet is Mercury, the planet of communication, and this is why you’re so chatty and friendly. For the first 20 days of March, this planet will be flying backwards in the sky. Of course, none of the planets can actually go backwards… but it will seem this way from Earth. During this Mercury retrograde, it becomes harder to engage in useful conversations, and social situations can be more challenging than usual. After the 20th, the retrograde will be over, and you’ll be back to your chatty self.

Cancer: June 21 to July 22

Your ruler is the moon, and therefore, both lunar and solar eclipses influence you more than others. On 3/3 there’s a total lunar eclipse in the reliable sign of Virgo. The lunar eclipse is a time of shifts and endings, but under Virgo, those endings will work in your favour. You’ll decide to block that friend who’s really more of a troll, and you’ll schedule a meeting with your supervisor to let them know that you need to set stronger boundaries.

Leo: July 23 to August 22

The bright sun is your heavenly ruler, and since Eclipses involve the movements of both the sun and the moon, even the Lunar eclipse leaves its mark on you. On March 3 the Total Lunar Eclipse causes you to experience your emotions in technicolor, and you may need a friend and a movie to help you process your emotions. The moon visits Leo twice this month, on the 1^st and then again from the 27^th to the 29th, and those will also be emotionally charged days. Lean into those instead of dreading them, because you’ll learn a lot about what you like and dislike by listening to your heart.

Virgo: August 23 to September 22

The total Lunar Eclipse in your sign on the 3rd forms a sort of ‘hard reset’ in your life, and primarily your love life. That date will be the gateway to the changes that you’ll enact during the next six months, between now and your birthday. Take your time planning what you’re going to do, because the Mercury retrograde will slow down any actual actions until the 20th. Thinking about the future is as important as creating the future, and you do like to plan ahead.

Libra: September 23 to October 22

On the 8th, your ruling planet Venus will be side by side with Saturn, planet of discipline. You,’ve been trying to get yourself back in the zone with your fitness goals and career ambitions but you’ve been daydreaming and distracted. Now, no more. After the 8^th, you’ll be a lot clearer on what you want to achieve, and you’ll find that your focus returns much more easily. On the 6th, your planet moves from dreamy Pisces to active Aries, which gives you an extra boost of positivity and power.

Scorpio: October 22 to November 21

The moon is in Scorpio from the 6th to the 9th, which can unsettle your emotions for a wee while. You’re a sensitive sign at the best of times, and you respond to changes using your gut feelings, so a few emotional days shouldn’t alarm you too much. During those days when the moon is in your sign, you may experience vivid dreams, strong intuitive pulls towards some places or people, or even past-life memories. Sagittarius: November 22 to December 21

Jupiter is going retrograde until the 10th, and during those days, there are more blocks and obstacles, especially around luck and wealth. Capricorn: December 22 to January 19

Saturn is your ruling planet. It is the planet of discipline and slow, methodical changes, which is why you’re such a workhorse and so clever at business. This month, Saturn will meet up with Venus, the planet of love, which will convince you to prioritise your fluffiest emotions. During the 7^th and the 8^th of March, this loving planet influences your personal planet, and you shut your laptop lid and put your dancing shoes on. A past lover could be reaching out on that day.

Aquarius: January 20 to February 18

As you leave Aquarius season behind, you’re happy to have a bit of peace and quiet. In February, the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, while both the Sun and the Moon were in your sign, must have super-charged you, leaving you excited about all the ideas for new projects that you can’t wait to start, but it was a little draining, too. Pisces: February 19 to March 20
