Shoppers hail £30 beauty box as ‘good value’ as it saves £90
Makeup and skincare lovers are in for a treat as Cult Beauty has a popular deal up for grabs with one of its sets. The Cult Beauty The Ritual of Radiance Edit – worth more than £120 – is now available for £30 on the website and it comes with a range of products.
The edit is said to offer layers of moisture with hydrating icons. Suitable for all-year round, it is said to ‘cushion, nourish and protect through seasons’ thanks to barrier-boosting formulas that are designed to comfort skin as the temperatures change.
In the set is a range of products, including: a full-sized Dr Jart + Dermask Soothing Hydra Solution (26g) sheet mask, which helps to minimise any discomfort while also soothing redness and irritation, and a Laneige Water Bank Aqua Skin Facial serum in a deluxe size of 5ml, which features Aqua Glass Shot with a 7.7% acid complex of AHA, BHA and PHA, along with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and rich antioxidants, the site says.
It also comes with a deluxe-sized 10ml Innisfree Green Tea Serum that has Jeju green tea and amino acids to help hydrate the skin; a full-sized Byoma Hydrating Milky Toner full (150ml) that helps with hydration levels; and an Anua 7 Rice Ceramide Hydrating Barrier Serum in a full size of 50ml that helps brighten the look of uneven skin tones.
The last three products are: the Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm, in a full size of 90g; a Sulwhasoo First Care Serum which is a deluxe size of 8ml and should be applied as a ‘first step post-cleanse’ to help boost absorption and radiance; and lastly, a Krave Kale-Lala-yAHA travel-sized toner of 20ml for a gentle exfoliation of the skin.
An alternative is The Ordinary’s Glass Skin Bundle for £35.60 from LookFantastic. This features a collection of skincare essentials from the brand, such as a Squalane Cleanser (50ml), a Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner (100ml), a Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 serum (30ml) and, lastly, a Natural Moisturising Factors + HA cream (30ml).
Boots also has a No7 Restore & Renew Collection Gift Set for £69.95, worth £149.75, up for grabs. This comes with a face and neck multi action day cream (50ml), a night cream (50ml), an eye cream (15ml), a serum (30ml) and a facial oil (30ml).
The Cult Beauty set has been rated a high five stars on the website, however, as one person wrote: “I’ve just purchased this edit. Such good value for money. I have tried the cleansing balm already and love it. I’m excited to try the other products.” Another person commented: “Fab value again, worth it for cleanser alone. Looking forward to trying the mask.”
A third wrote: “I bought two! What a great edit and worth it for the cleansing balm alone. Very pleased.”
Although there were no other reviews for the set, one person commented on the cleansing balm separately and said: “I adore cleansing balms, and have tried a fair few now. This one is definitely the most nourishing and luxurious! Skin feels amazing afterwards and makes me really enjoy taking off my makeup and SPF rather than it being a chore. Just wish it was more affordable so I could use it all the time!”
Another wrote: “I wanted to love this enough to give it five stars, but I was disappointed by the smell. I had read so many reviews of people loving the smell but I found it a bit lacking. I found it to be quite a subtle smell. Other than that, it is a lovely cleanser, I mostly use it as a first cleanse in the evening, and (it) takes off makeup pretty well.”
